Trust me to create another summer orientated wishlist when the rainy weather seems to have clouded our hopes (pun intended) BUT anything to get in the zone of sun, sea, sand and errrrm, sleep? I know when I’m abroad and I’m sunbathing my troubles away I end up dozing off in the space of just a few minutes of placing my new totally-chic-trying-to-represent-the-cover-of-vogue sunnies on but even if your mouth is wide open and your skin is exposed to red patches that will burn in the bath later on, at least you’ll be dribbling in style, right?
I seem to have developed an unhealthy obsession with hunting down the perfect pair of sunglasses and have adapted the ‘you can never have too many’ attitude; especially those of the rose gold shade and nose bridge kind. I’ve touched before on my difficulty in finding eye-wear that compliments my oddly petite shaped face and although I’m all for the large cat eye, the oversized, and the abstract printed types, the simple aviators befit the best. Through the influence of many vloggers and bloggers, Quay Australia has been the biggest contributor to my coveting and I was pleasantly surprised at the great value for such luxe designs. One concept that will always remain is my love for high street and affordable sunglasses that are often an almost real replica of the Dior meets Chanel. If you’re like me and can’t afford the designer gigs but fancy mixing up the usual £3 easily breakable Primark selection, these twenty odd picks should be right up your street!
Let me know where your favourite place is to buy sunglasses!
